What is a Commercial BER?
The BER (Building Energy Rating) is an indicator of energy performance covering energy use for space heating and cooling, water heating, ventilation, and lighting, calculated on the basis of standard operating patterns for non-domestic buildings. It is accompanied by a CO2 emissions indicator.
Commercial Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificates are required for all commercial buildings offered for sale or rent.
